This place is BEAUTIFUL! I am in town with my husband for work and this place is like being in our own house. It's super peaceful out here and it's not too far from town. The people that run the place are super friendly and eager to help. This place is so Awesome that you better book in advance because they stay busy. I highly recommend staying here if you need a place to call home while you are in town.

This place was nice enough to be a four but I rated a little less because I felt some things were missing. They had a kitchenette with stove, microwave refrigerator, but zero pots and pans plates or utensils so if you don’t travel carrying those items, the stove serves no purpose. The beds were not very comfortable, and there were no pillows other than the decorative pillows on the bedspread. The Internet did not work as there were just a couple cabins that had it and it didn’t reach far enough to supply us with Wi-Fi. You will need to gather your sheets and towels and remove your own trash similar to a BNB. I think the check-in process needs to be identified better because you check in down the road and not at the cabins. I know they have it in the documentation when I booked but that was two months earlier, a sign at the entrance would help as a reminder. The location was great and close to a very good restaurant and convenience store

The Lodge is a branch of the Van Hook Territorial Inn. It's beautiful cabins with all cedar inside. The parking is lacking especially if you have a boat, but we made it work. Breakfast at 6 AM at the Territorial inn is included and worth it. Great stay for a week long fishing trip.

Conviently located just 10 minutes from Vanhook, Lake Sakakawea. I can literally drive to the lake and be set up ice fishing with in 30 minutes, come summer time I'll bring my boat out here and do the same. Cabins are clean and have a warm and welcoming feel. Great for a family or a couple of fisherman looking to fish the big lake. I love it!

These are a cozy cabin, they were clean, close to putting boat in at Vanhook. After reading reviews I knew to pack kitchen items. NOTE the kitchen is not stocked with any utensils, soap, potholders, towels, etc. you will need to bring everything to cook. It would be great if they could supply the basics and a grill to use. Boat parking is tight but you can make it work, they do have exterior plug ins so that you can plug your boat in. It was great that it was aircondioned. They could kill the weeds and spruce up the grounds a little bit. All in All we would stay again.

The lodge was an awesome experience, it had everything you could ask for to have a nice getaway with family. Just a short drive into New Town where everyone was so nice and helpful not to mention some of the best Chinese food my wife or I have had lol, we will definitely be booking another weekend soon !!

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins for a few days. Cabins were clean and well maintained. We packed as if we were tent camping, so we were well stocked with everything we needed. Loved having a cozy cabin with a bathroom, kitchen, and AC! Close to marinas. Close to fuel and shopping. Plenty of room to park our jet skis next to the cabin and store the kayaks on the porch. Staff was very friendly. It was a perfect quiet get-away, and we would definitely stay there again.
